| Realizing the great importance of Clean Development Mechanism
(CDM) for the Indian industry, FICCI, with assistance from Norwegian
Embassy, New Delhi is providing the necessary technical consultancy
through trained professionals for preparing industries to identify
potential CDM projects and facilitating them in developing the
project as well as helping them in getting approval from Indian
Ministries and UNFCCC EB. Going a step further, FICCI is developing
network among the potential international Carbon credits buyers
for providing the best market deal for the issued CERs to Indian
CDM projects. FICCI is also taking initiative to promote CDM
among the industries through organizing capacity building, technical
workshops and training sessions for professionals from different
industries. |
