CDM Due Diligence

Due Diligence, describes the necessary accuracy with which a project will be assessed and analyzed before it is purchased. Due Diligence check includes a weakness/strength analysis of the project, analysis of the purchase-related risks, sound assessment of the project and comprises a technical and a financial review, including a site visit.

FICCI QUALITY FORUM - CDM Division conducts Due Diligence Programs and their framework of review enables to perform the following scope of services:
  1. Due diligence of potential CDM projects.
  2. Reviewing and drafting their technical, economical and environmental details.
  3. Determining the feasibility of such potential CDM projects.
  4. Identification of CER reduction opportunities
  5. Development of request for proposal (RFP) and evaluation criteria for selecting consultant for framing Project Identification Note (PIN) and Project Design Document (PDD) and completing approval and registration process.
  6. Regular monitoring and review of deliverables in the process of host country approval, Designated Operational Entities (DOE) validation and registration.
  7. Establishing the monitoring and verification plan and commercialization of carbon credits by assessment of various market perspectives.
