Capacity Building

FICCI Quality Forum - CDM Division works on Capacity Building and awareness related to the Climate Change Mechanism defined in the Kyoto Protocol.

Activities include:

1. Regional awareness workshops and information programmes in pan India and in South Asian Association For Regional Cooperation (SAARC) countries. The purpose of the regional workshops is to bring together the key stakeholders, to exchange information and map the path forward in CDM activities
2. Presentations and discussion panels provide insights on the requirements and challenges related to CDM Process and Kyoto protocol designed United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) standardization in various fields like industrial systems, power generation, buildings, transport, energy management etc.
3. Events, seminars and training sessions are organized to impart institutional Capacity Building and have been acknowledged and appreciated widely. The interactions during the knowledge sharing sessions benefit the participants in addressing the capability gaps leading to improved productivity at their organizations.
