Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI)
is the apex business organization working since 1927 to strengthen
the economic base of India through improvement in industry,
commerce and agriculture. It has over 500 chambers of commerce
and industry associations as primary members representing
over 300,000 enterprises in India. It has also established
joint business councils with the national chambers of 68 countries;
thus constitutes one of the largest business networks in the
world.
FICCI quality Forum (FQF) is the specialized division of
FICCI, which strives to sharpen the competitive edge of Indian
enterprises through training and consultancy. It has dedicated
team of qualified specialists with hands-on experience of
quality, environmental and food safety management organizations
in India and abroad. FQF is conducting several accredited
training courses in collaboration with leading international
training organizations. FQF has close relationship with international
organizations like UNIDO, ISO and European Union Technical
Assistance Agency for whom various quality related projects
are being executed in India and other developing countries.
